This girl is an amazing friend of mine. She suffered from anorexia for over three years. Although she is extremely small, she isn’t as small as the girl you would see in the proana pictures. Because Proana is either models with a lot of photoshop, or girls that use a lot of photoshop. I want all of you to read this. Understand that it can destroy you. She still relapses sometimes. Even after doing so well with her recovery.
The saying “Stay Strong” used to mean not to eat. To continue to resist food, and get smaller, or at least believe that you will get smaller. But the thing is… you won’t. You aren’t the exception to this one rule. You never will be. The sooner you learn this, the better off you will be. She has helped me through so much, and even now, she still helps. Although I may still struggle, she is recovering. She is showing the world that she can and will survive.
